Donate baby items

Please note: our donation times have changed for winter. For January and February we will be open every Tuesday from 10am until 3pm.

Most of the items we give to mums and babies are donated to us by our amazing local community. We couldnโ€™t do what we do without you!

Weโ€™re a tiny organisation with limited resources and we do not have access to our own washing facilities for donations. We ask all our generous supporters to please only donate items that are clean and good quality; items you would be happy to give to your best friend or put your newborn baby in.

Find us at PramDepot, Unit 3, 10 – 15 Clarendon Road, N22 6XJ

Frequently Asked Questions

Does PramDepot collect donations?

PramDepot is a very small organisation so we are unfortunately unable to collect donations! If you would like to donate you baby items to a baby bank but are unable to transport them, you may want to arrange a donation collection with Little Village

Can I donate a buggy or another item that has a missing part or a part that needs fixing?

PramDepot is a very small organisation so we unfortunately don’t have the time or funding to replace missing parts or fix broken baby items. Please don’t bring us buggies or baby items that need to be fixed! This includes carry cots or bassinets without the rest of the buggy/pram.

Can I donate a buggy or another item that needs to be cleaned?

PramDepot is a very small organisation so we unfortunately aren’t able to spend time cleaning dirty items. Please make sure you clean your items before passing them onto us.

Can I donate reusable nappies, wipes or maternity pads?

Unfortunately we cannot take reusable nappies, wipes or maternity pads. Most of the mums we support live in shared accommodation and do not have access to adequate washing facilities so are unable to use these items.

Can I donate a mattress?

We can only take mattresses that are completely new and still sealed in packaging. We are unable to take second-hand mattresses of any kind for health and safety reasons.

Can I donate a car seat?

We can only take car seats that are completely new and still sealed in packaging. We are unable to take any second-hand car seats for health and safety reasons.

Can I donate maternity clothes?

At the moment, we cannot take maternity clothes but we hope to take these in the future! If you work for a service or organisation that would like to do a regular pick-up of maternity clothes from us to distribute to your networks, please get in touch hello@pramdepot.com

Can I donate baby formula?

No, we cannot take baby formula or baby food.

Can I donate already opened packs of nappies / maternity pads / breast pads?

For hygiene reasons, we can only take donations of nappies, maternity pads and breast pads if they are new and still in a sealed pack.

Where do all the donations go?

Most of the clothes and items donated to us for newborns will be passed on to vulnerable mums across London through our baby box scheme. You can read more about this here. We also pass on donated prams to vulnerable mums in Haringey.

All of the items donated to us for babies older than three months are passed onto Little Village, a larger baby bank which distributes items to struggling families across London.

Everything you donate to us will be passed on to a parent who needs it. Thank you for your support!
